Lo, the VAZ Kickstarter campaign entered it's 23rd day. NO! Drop that remote. Don't start resting yet! The finish line is nigh. It is actually more than nigh: it's coming over the hump desperately fast! Midway point reached, schedule-wise, but we are about a third of the way in funding.

Now is the time to talk to your wealthy step-father for the first time in 20 years, or the long-lost Apple stock-owning cousin--who still remembers hanging out at the fort you built together out of abandoned pallets and wonders whatever happened to that cousin that stole all that porn from your dad's secret stash; or that CEO aunt who won't offer you that job you're not sure you want anyway, as mailrooms make you sneeze fitfully; or that overbearing matron or patron, you can't stand and yet leak money as they pontificate to everyone in the family in a privately on just how to get their lives either back or finally on track (whatever that might mean)...

Our new record Chartreuse Bull has hit the cassette tape shelves/market with not so much a bang, as a "fwoosh!!!"---all cassettes have vanished out the door--straight outta the www.damagedrituals.com warehouse. Lotsa under paid (not underpaid) janitors in the DR corporate offices are mystified and sad for now they will not be able stuff their Dickies with valuable merchandise. Of course, the janitors own the company so maybe they can write a memo and get things going again.

But for those of you who like a less wispy, more tangible musical format, I say don't you gals fear neither because a) Damaged Rituals (as foretold) is going to repress it (maybe along with a certain, long lost "pink-ish" record that, I'm sure, has aged like fine wine deep in the cask-like vaults of a certain, negligent, "white-nights" music label--but you didn't hear that here) and b) we are also extremely pleased to announce that Sleeping Giant Glossolalia will be pressing it up on beautiful unbiodegradable vinyl very soon!!! Yep. Good things happening.
